Dear Friends and Families of Commack PTA, 

Budget time is upon us in the new year, and we face some big challenges due to cuts by Governor Paterson to our educational funding. We must rally together to let our legislators know that we cannot bear any further decreases in school aid, and any more increases in the share that we pay towards our property taxes. We will keep you updated as to PTA's plans to address the state aid situation. Public Budget Workshops will be held at Hubbs on March 11, March 24, and April 6. I encourage you to take part in the process.

Pocket Calendars are still available for sale.  The calendars include all updated information on NYS Testing dates and any changes that have been made to school events. This is a handy tool that I know parents have come to count on and please know that the proceeds go toward council scholarships for Commack students.
