Dear Friends and families of Commack PTA,

Budget time is now here!   Please click on the Budget Information Link for our latest updates. Dr. Feltman and Laura Newman will be giving budget presentations at the May PTA meetings, another great opportunity to learn and ask questions. And don't forget Meet the Candidates Night is on May 4 at 8 PM at Mandracchia Sawmill Intermediate School.

The budget shortfall, due to cut backs in state aid, will not be finalized until the state passes the budget.  In the meantime we urge you to write to the governor and state legislators of the importance of funding our children’s education.  They are the future and cutting funds from education is not the answer.  

On a happier note, Founders’ Day was wonderful.  A big congratulations to our much deserving Founders’ Day award recipients and a big thank you to the Founders Day Committee:  Annette Muller, Laura Giusti and Mary Lionetti.  A great time was had by all, and we really appreciated their hard work.  Please see below for the link to order pictures from that night. 

Many thanks to Modell's Sporting Goods for choosing the PTA Council Scholarship Fund for their Community Fundraiser in March. Over $3,500 was raised thanks to the community's support of this fundraiser!!!
